Doshas
The key to Ayurvedic wellness and healing is the knowledge that health is not a “one size fits all” proposition. One must understand the unique nature of each person and situation, taking into account the individual, the season, the geography, and so on.
Have you ever wondered why some people are hyperactive while others stay calm? Why some people do not put on weight despite eating more than what is required while others gain weight by eating a simple three course meal? Ayurveda resolves all these questions with the three doshas or body types.

We stand for pure, fresh and natural.
Kapha Dosha
Kapha Dosha (Water Energy)
Kapha dosha provides body structure and smooth functioning, located in the chest, throat, lungs, head, and tissues. It aids in joint lubrication and energy storage. Kapha individuals are loving, relaxed, compassionate, and financially savvy, often holding on to people and things for a long time.
Kapha Body Type
Kapha individuals have broad, well-developed bodies and may carry extra weight. They have thick skin, well-developed muscles, fair oily skin, dark wavy hair, and large dark or blue eyes. They eat less due to slow digestion, possess good stamina, and generally remain happy and peaceful.
The Kapha Mind
People with a Kapha mindset are calm, forgiving, and peaceful, valuing harmony in their surroundings. They can exhibit traits of greed, attachment, envy, and possessiveness. Although they comprehend slowly, their retention of knowledge is strong and long-lasting.
Vata Dosha
Vata Dosha (Wind Energy)
Vata dosha, stemming from space and air, governs movement and bodily functions. Known as the "king of doshas," it fuels the life force and motion of pitta and kapha. Balanced vata individuals are active, creative, and expressive, while imbalances may lead to impulsivity, mood swings, fear, anxiety, and physical ailments like dry skin and constipation.
Vata Body Type
Vata individuals are often physically underdeveloped, with visible veins and tendons, flat chests, and a slim build. They have a brown to wheatish complexion, dry skin, curly sparse hair, thin eyelashes, and often cold hands and feet. Their eyes are sunken, nails are rough and brittle, and their sleep is often disturbed. They enjoy sweets and hot drinks.
The Vata Mind
Vata individuals have quick mental understanding but short-term memory. They grasp concepts quickly but forget them just as fast. They typically have little willpower, tolerance, confidence, and boldness, leading to nervousness, fearfulness, and anxiety.
Pitta Dosha
Pitta Dosha (Fire Energy)
Pitta dosha governs digestion and metabolism, operating through substances like organic acids, hormones, and bile. It provides heat and energy through food molecule breakdown and oversees conversion processes in the body.
Pitta Body Type
Individuals with a pitta body type are of medium height, with a delicate and slender frame, moderate muscle development, and fair to reddish complexion. They have soft skin, thin silky hair, and eyes of green, grey, or copper brown color. Pitta individuals have a strong metabolism, good digestion, and a tendency for premature greying. They crave sweet and bitter foods and have a hearty appetite.
The Pitta Mind
Pitta types possess a sharp mind with excellent concentration, reacting quickly and agilely to situations. They excel in oratory skills, leadership, and management, being competitive by nature and enjoying challenges.
